Methodologist (La Rusa LLC) (Clearwater, FL): Responsible for the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of educational courses in taxation, accounting, and compliance for La Rusa’s professional training programs. Ensures that all courses meet the standards and requirements established by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) providers, the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP), and the California Tax Education Council (CTEC). Designs course structures, assessment materials, and instructional methodologies that align with current U.S. tax law and industry best practices. Collaborates closely with subject matter experts, instructors, and compliance staff to maintain academic rigor, instructional quality, and regulatory compliance. Designs and updates educational curricula for tax and accounting courses, ensuring compliance with IRS, AFSP, and CTEC standards. Develops instructional materials, lesson plans, quizzes, and examinations in accordance with CPE and AFSP certification guidelines. Reviews course content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with current federal and state tax laws. Implements and maintains methodologies for assessing student learning outcomes and instructional effectiveness. Coordinates with instructors and subject experts to integrate real-world case studies, tax updates, and compliance changes. Ensures that all course documentation, policies, and submission materials meet federal and state regulatory standards. Monitors IRS and CTEC updates to maintain current knowledge of certification and reporting requirements. Conducts data analysis and reporting related to student progress, pass rates, and compliance audits. In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following skills and experience is required: Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): GetCourse, Teachable, Moodle; Experience with Authoring & Content Tools: Articulate 360, Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Workspace; Experience with accounting & tax compliance systems; Experience with regulatory reporting and professional credentialing processes; Experience with Project Management: TaxDome, Slack, Trello, Asana, Notion, or Microsoft Teams; Experience developing instructional materials, methodological documentation, and compliance-focused training programs; Experience working with tax regulations; and Experience creating educational content for Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking audiences. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Law, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field, and at least three (3) years of experience as a Methodologist, Training Specialist, Curriculum Developer, or in a related occupation.
