Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develops operating plans and recovery plans for production operations.

• Develops models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data including statistics, operations research, trend analysis, and production impacts.

• Provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to management, senior leadership, other departments, and suppliers.

• Develops, implements, and improves processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts.

• Defines and controls the scope, cost, and timing of projects and performs risk analysis using project management tools including work break-down structure, precedence network, and resource allocation.

• Uses engineering methods including mathematical models, simulations, and statistics to support optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources.

• Analyzes and designs value streams including capability, capacity, throughput, workflow, and logistics.

• Interacts with employees to gather data for process improvements by observing, documenting processes, and collecting data in manufacturing areas.

• Schedules work plans and conducts data analysis including historical trends, production impacts, and staffing.

• Applies Lean concepts and other Industrial Engineering techniques to improve production efficiency.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field from an ABET accredited university.

• 3+ years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, and Project Management.

• 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer in a factory environment.

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Planning, engineering drawings, and specifications.

• Familiarity with lean concepts (certifications preferred).

• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SAS, VBA, SQL, or Minitab.

• Preferred: Aircraft or Aerospace industry experience.

• Preferred: Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools such as IVT.
