Job Title: Methods Proc Analyst 2

Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary Range: $40 - $45/hour

Introduction

*** Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking experienced professionals to support the Executive Fleet program. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will apply Industrial Engineering concepts to develop operating plans and recovery plans, conduct capacity and constraint-based analysis, develop and refine precedence networks, and conduct overall process effectiveness studies. You will also have opportunities to develop, implement, and improve processes focused on lowering costs and improving schedule performance and quality. Candidates must be able to operate within a multi-functional team, coordinating with various departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field from an ABET accredited university.
• 2 years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management.
• 2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer in a factory environment.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Planning, engineering drawings and specifications, and lean concepts.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SAS, VBA, SQL, Minitab.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Aircraft / Aerospace industry experience.
• Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools such as IVT.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develops operating plans and recovery plans as needed.
• Develops models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers.
• Develops, implements, and improves processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts.
• Provides support to complete various projects as needed.
• Analyzes and designs value streams, including capability, capacity, throughput, work flow, and logistics.
