Description of ProjectThe Minnesota Client is seeking one full-time resource to secure one System Admin (to act as an Integration/Middleware Administrator), who must have advanced experience building large and complex systems. The System Admin is needed to support ongoing, highly visible projects to successful completion, enabling multiple ISDS technical solutions to be deployed and fully operational. These may include several cross-agency projects with key collaborators from MNsure, MNIT and the State Client (Client). Many of these solutions are deployed into existing, large scale computer systems, so advanced experience with the existing technologies is a necessity.The successful candidate will have the experience to assume immediate responsibility for (new and active) large and technically complex projects which impact current processes. The candidate must develop flexible and efficient plans and collaborate with matrixed project teams with multiple priorities while simultaneously fostering an environment of team building and coordination. A large portion of ongoing responsibilities revolve around interpreting and mitigating security vulnerability reports generated by internal scans as well as partnered audits. Mitigation strategies range from standard patching planning to highly technical solutions implemented at the middleware, web server, or load balancer level. The successful candidate will be responsible for directly implementing solutions at all tiers.The work is expected to be done remotely.TasksBuild, configure, deploy and support IBM middleware products including but not limited to: WebSphere Application Server Network Deploy, IBM HTTP Server, IBM Business Process Manager, WebSphere Transformation Extender, IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management, IBM MQSeries, and IBM Integration BusProvide support and consultation for the following custom-developed software systems, software families TPIN METS (built on IBM WebSphere & BPM, Informatica ActiveVOS, HHS Audit, HHS Content, HHS Notify) and IBM Curam for MN Client (meeting the minimum experience requirements specified below)Implement and support highly available, recoverable, and secure systems using F5 load balancer technologiesCreate and maintain automated deployment scripts for WAS, BPM, IIB, and WTX applications using Jenkins & AnsibleSupport and build integration between business program software and enterprise IAM security solutionsRespond to break/fix issues, troubleshoot and resolve server hardware and operating system issues and make recommendations for corrective actionMonitor supported systems through direct observation and established State of Minnesota proceduresDeploy code updates to middleware and in-house software packages to support testing and release schedulesApply required fix-packs to the WAS, HTTP, BPM, & IIB serversMaintain consistent architectural topologies in all application environments while integrating application changes and infrastructure improvementsProvide other middleware-related functions to support the METS and dependent applications and subsystemsCreate technical architectural design documentsProvide updates as required for MNIT, MNsure and Client leadership as required by State of MinnesotaManage small to medium level projectsProvide knowledge transferMinimum Qualifications5 years' experience installing, maintaining, and operating Informatica ActiveVOS5 years' experience installing, maintaining, and operating IBM Business Process Manager-BPM family of software (other titles in series: Business Automation Workflow or BAW; WebSphere Process Server or WPS)5 years' experience installing, maintaining, and operating IBM Integration Bus-IIB family of software (other titles in series: IBM App Connect Enterprise or ACE; WebSphere Message Broker)5 years' experience working with healthcare program packages: HHS Integration Software (HHS Content, HHS Notify, & HHS Audit.
