Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Supply Chain Manager I 

Job Summary: 
Supports inbound inventory management processes and analysis for H-E-B's manufacturing division. This role acts as a key individual contributor focused on process improvement, data analysis, and supporting the reduction of shrink losses throughout the manufacturing supply chain. 

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: 

  • Oversees and supports inbound inventory management processes and detailed analysis for the manufacturing division. 
  • Drives analysis and implements process improvements to support the reduction of shrink losses throughout the manufacturing supply chain. 
  • Collaborates extensively with plant operational leadership, manufacturing accounting, manufacturing QA, manufacturing digital and data engineering teams, inbound planning teams, and other support functions to lead and assist with process improvement initiatives. 
  • Applies expert subject matter knowledge to complex business issues within inventory management and supply chain operations. 
  • Regarded as a subject matter expert both internally and externally. 
  • Develops guidelines and procedures to set future precedent and direction. 
  • Assists in strategy development and sets policy and direction for the functional area. 
  • Operates as a key cross-functional partner to ensure business units consistently meet customer needs and expectations. 
  • Provides direction in accordance with Manufacturing and Distribution's overall strategy. 
  • Maximizes the use of H-E-B assets and resources to achieve facility financial goals through effective inventory management and shrink reduction.

Qualifications & Key Requirements: 

Work Experience: 

  • 6+ years Related experience - Required 
  • Experience presenting to cross-functional teams - Required 
  • Experience successfully implementing process improvement initiatives - Required 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong knowledge in related areas: industry, OSHA, EEOC, and employment laws 
  • Advanced knowledge of financial reports in one or more functional areas - Required 
  • Advanced verbal / written communication skills - Required 
  • Advanced influencing skills - Required 
  • Advanced PC skills, including MS Office and internal and external software systems - Required 
  • Strong financial and analytical skills - Required 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly shift focus; attention to detail - Required 

Education: 

  • Master’s Degree - Preferred 
  • Bachelor’s Degree - Required 

Licenses/Certifications: 

  • Completions of assigned Leadership and Development classes  

Physical Demands & Working Conditions: 

  • Function in a fast-paced office environment 
  • Travel by car or plane with overnight stays 
  • Work extended hours; sit for extended periods
