Job Summary

The MFM Sonographer Educator I is an entry-level position focused on performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in the field of maternal-fetal medicine under direct supervision. This role is responsible for producing quality sonographic images, adhering to established protocols, and supporting physicians in the assessment and care of expectant mothers and their fetuses. The MFM Sonographer Educator I maintains patient safety and privacy, and ensures accurate documentation, while demonstrating a commitment to learning and professional development within a collaborative healthcare environment. The sonographer demonstrates a willingness to work collaboratively with learners, fostering a supportive educational environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:

a.Associates Degree (graduate of an accredited medical sonography program)

b.Basic Life Support from approved American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Program

c.American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography RDMS in OBGYN specialty

Work Experience (Years and Area):

No Experience Required: MFM ultrasound scanning experience preferred
