Job Overview
The AI Transformation Lead champions the strategic adoption of AI within the Automotive Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) organization as part of the ORBIT corporate initiative. This senior role owns the end-to-end roadmap for PM & Commercial AI tools and capabilities, drives cross-functional execution, ensures governance and compliance, measures business impact, and builds a sustainable AI-enabled community. The incumbent acts as a bridge between SPM leadership, IT, and the corporate ORBIT team, translating strategic AI ambitions into executable projects with measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support definition and execution of the Automotive PM & Commercial AI transformation roadmap, aligned with ORBIT strategy and SPM business objectives
- Identify, prioritize, and champion high-impact AI initiatives based on SPM community input and business value
- Lead cross-functional project teams; ensure timely delivery of AI tools, solutions, and prompt packages with measurable impact
- Design and oversee change management programs, including training, communication, and user adoption strategies
- Establish governance frameworks for AI tool management, including versioning, compliance, data privacy (GDPR), and lifecycle management
- Define, implement, and report on lead and lag KPIs (adoption, efficiency gains, revenue impact, time-to-market improvements)
- Partner with corporate ORBIT leadership to ensure alignment, share best practices, and contribute to group initiatives
- Build and nurture a PM AI Community of Practice to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular reviews to assess tool relevance, deprecate outdated solutions, and iterate based on feedback
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Informatics or similar
- 10 years of experience in digital transformation, AI projects, enterprise software implementation, or equivalent technology leadership
- Deep expertise in AI and machine learning; hands-on experience deploying generative AI platforms and solutions at scale
- Proven project and program management capability in complex, matrixed environments with competing stakeholders
- Strong ability to define KPI frameworks, measure impact, and communicate business value to senior leadership
- Strategic thinking combined with operational excellence; comfort owning both vision and execution
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across organizational levels and geographies
- Understanding of Product Management organization, roles, and value drivers (not necessarily prior PM role)
- Self-driven learner with demonstrated commitment to staying current with AI trends and technologies

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $142,400 - $213,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
