Mgr Laboratory-Crestwood Medical Center-FT-1st shift

Overview:

The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the daily operational, technical, financial, and personnel management of assigned laboratory departments. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements while maintaining high-quality patient care, accurate test results, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. The Laboratory Manager collaborates with medical directors, organizational leadership, and laboratory staff to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree with detailed knowledge of laboratory operations, quality assurance and control; specimen integrity; knowledge of billing, compliance, and budgetary control. 

License: National certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Specialist or Medical Technologist (MT) with the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (HEW).  MT preferred.

Experience: Three to five years’ experience in a laboratory setting with management or lab outreach experience preferred.
