    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack products and materials in the warehouse.
    • Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, or other storage units.
    • Transport materials to appropriate storage areas and ensure correct placement.
    • Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
    • Assist in organizing products for shipment and order fulfillment.
    • Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Inspect forklift equipment regularly and perform minor maintenance as needed.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and shipping areas.
    • Collaborate with other team members to meet shipping and production goals.
    • Report any safety hazards, accidents, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
    • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and labeling products.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
    • Valid forklift certification (OSHA-certified) or the ability to obtain certification.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and logging information.
    • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.
