UPS is seeking Master-Level Human Resource Interns to drive high-impact assignments that contribute to shared goals of the HR Department. The MHR Internship Program is designed to prepare the next generation of HR professionals for success through skill development, networking opportunities, mentorship, and exposure to various HR business departments. The internship is located at the UPS Global Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, candidates must be willing to relocate or work in the job location for the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develops and proposes actionable solutions addressing a defined business need, with a clear implementation path
Conducts data-driven research to support project outcomes and produces high-quality deliverables
Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of company practices by analyzing data and identifying trends
Explores and applies AI and emerging technologies to enhance HR initiatives and innovation efforts
Collaborates with HR teams and key stakeholders to execute project responsibilities
Aligns project work with enterprise, business-unit, and stakeholder long-term strategies and goals
Engages in training and development opportunities
Leverages mentorship for assistance navigating the organization and exploring career development opportunities
Promotes inclusivity of thought, experience, and ideas
Applies problem-solving skills to help address business challenges and develops practical solutions
Showcases project results and business impact through formal presentation to HR leadership
Knowledge and Skills
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action
Ability to convey a professional presence and positive influence with all stakeholders
Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Open to feedback and self-development
Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
Ability to analyze data and experience with data visualization preferred (or willingness to learn)
Maintains commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Basic Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in a master's or MBA program with a preferred course of study in Human Resources Management. Other master's in Business, Organizational Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Business Analytics are also encouraged to apply.

Must be willing and available to work in or relocate to the UPS Corporate Office in Atlanta for the duration of the internship
