The Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic partnership to business and operations leaders across the different Mosaic Life Care facilities, as well as consultation across core HR services, including workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, organizational excellence, caregiver relations, HR analytics, diversity and inclusion, and coaching and counseling.

Skills and Abilities

Essential Technical/Motor Skills

  • Must be able to use a personal computer and telephone.
  • Strong computer skills required, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with personnel data systems (i.e., Lawson) and Talent Management systems (e.g., Cornerstone) preferred

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong diplomacy and adaptability attributes to contend with exposure to upper levels of management.

  • Works in an office environment.

  • Provide strategic advice / consulting around key human capital issues, leveraging tools, data, and analysis to support decision making to the business, in alignment with the overall people strategy.
  • Works closely with Leaders to ensure that needs are voiced to Talent leadership and gathers feedback on Talent service delivery quality.
  • Responsible for strategic workforce planning across facilities, ensuring alignment of resources with organizational needs (both current and forecasted).
  • Support the business in delivery of special projects (e.g., business reorganization, strategic talent programs).
  • Monitor and report on key Talent performance metrics, productivity standards, and SLAs to ensure that Talent service targets are met, issues are resolved in a timely manner and quality service is continuously monitored and improved.
  • Proactively identify issues as they arise and escalate to Talent leadership as appropriate.
  • Leverage Talent programs and processes to enable the business to develop and maintain desired organizational culture.
  • Ensure that Talent programs and policies are in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as aligned to overall organizational policies.
  • Partner with fellow Business Partners, Recruiters, Solution Center caregivers and Talent leadership to ensure that programs and policies are in alignment with the overall people strategy and aligned with business needs.
  • Serve as an advisor to business leaders throughout the acute care transformation process.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor''s Degree - Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area required or actively pursuing for attainment within established timeframe - Required

Work Experience

  • 3 Years - Applicable experience - Required

Licenses and Certifications

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - Preferred Upon Hire Or
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - Preferred Upon Hire

Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed. - Required
