Assistant Project ManagerOur client is a well-established Commercial Interiors General Contractor specializing in office fit-outs, corporate interiors, retail spaces, hospitality projects, and tenant improvements throughout New York City. Known for their collaborative culture, quality workmanship, and strong client relationships, they continue to grow through repeat business and a reputation for delivering exceptional projects.Job DescriptionAssist Project Managers with the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial interior projects. Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking activities. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams. Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation. Help monitor project progress to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved. Conduct site visits and assist with quality control and safety compliance efforts. Track change orders, project costs, and material deliveries. Communicate project updates to clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Experience working on commercial interiors, tenant fit-outs, renovations, or workplace projects. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Experience working for a General Contractor preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
