Job TitleSupply Chain StrategistJob DescriptionDevelop and implement strategic procurement plans to drive cost savings and efficiency. Assist in the development and management of sourcing and procurement strategies for each managed category and execute against them (RFPs, RFQs, contract drafting and negotiation, etc.), with a focus on total value (cost, service levels, quality, risk). Support the demand planning and forecasting aligned to business model. Work with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of large-scale projects. Analyze supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance performance. Monitor supplier relationships to ensure quality and compliance. Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability; can quickly diagnose issues, simplify complexity, and drive practical solutions. Strong vendor relationship and communication skills. A track record of leading significant work and delivering extraordinary results, not just maintaining existing processes. Sound judgment and strong ownership in fast-moving, ambiguous environments; able to move work forward independently and raise the bar for others. Resilience, maturity, and openness to feedback; secure enough to adapt, improve, and stay effective under pressure. An entrepreneurial mindset; willing to take smart risks, challenge outdated ways of working, and build better systems from the ground up. Strong planning and operational discipline; able to design and manage inventory, distribution, and fulfillment processes with rigor. The ability to influence and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including vendors, school-based teams, and network staff. Comfort with systems and technology, including the ability to learn new tools quickly and use them to improve visibility, control, and execution.
