Micro-Electronics Assembler - Weekend Shift

Location: Chelmsford, MA 12348 Job ID: 72019 Pay Range: $20-24 Pay based on experience Open to US Citizens and permanent Residents

Shift: Weekend Day shift Full-Time Fri-Sun, 500 AM - 530 PM 3-12hr days Need pass an Interim secret clearance to start work. Secret Clearance must be obtained prior to consideration for full time position.

Summary: Seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a leading technology company in Chelmsford MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role youll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

Job Details:

Shift: Weekend Day shift Full-Time Fri-Sun, 500 AM - 530 PM Hours: 500AM - 530PM

What Youll Do:

  1. Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instruction and drawings.
  2. Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
  3. Read and interpret assembly process, work instruction, and work instruction processes.
  4. Work with microscopic to large components that may require visual magnification.
  5. Use various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters, and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers and screwdrivers.
  6. Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
  7. Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

What Were Looking For:

  1. Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  4. Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
  5. Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
  6. Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
  7. Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
  8. High school diploma or GED required.
