Job Description
In this role, you will join a world-class team of engineers and researchers and contribute to the development of microarchitectures and the related back-end compiler software for advanced versions of IBM's AI accelerators. This work will be carried out in a multi-disciplinary environment where hardware-software co-optimization is key. The microarchitecture innovations and software-stack components will target complete AI solutions for both established and next-generation AI applications. Specific examples of job responsibilities include
- Explore compute-in-memory extensions to dataflow microarchitecture accelerators,
- Investigate microarchitecture extensions to enhance on-chip memory expansion and efficiency,
- Develop software kernels to demonstrate and leverage the microarchitecture innovations,
- Prototyping on FPGA emulation platforms,
- Contribute to the development of cutting-edge demonstrations with emerging AI accelerators.
