Job Title: Microbiologist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Microbiologist to lead investigations and corrective actions. The role involves environmental monitoring and utilizing aseptic techniques, as well as using Vitech instruments in a laboratory setting. The position requires air monitoring for all buildings, swabbing, and handling pathogenic bacteria. Testing will include raw materials, finished products, and water samples, primarily focusing on nutraceuticals, with some pharmaceutical products. The role also involves managing multiple product lots, documenting results in LIMS, and maintaining GMP-compliant lab notebooks.

Work Environment
This position operates in a Mon-Fri schedule, either 8-4 or 9-5, with potential weekend availability required once fully trained. The facility is an open campus consisting of 5 buildings with an onsite cafeteria and lounge. You will join a team with similar experienced employees, including one other technician and a supervisor who has been with the company for years. The goal is to develop into a Subject Matter Expert in Microbiology, with a pathway to transition into a leadership role after the contract period.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
