Location: Columbus, OH 43219

Duration: 16 months of Contract (with possible extension)

Shift Available: 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM From Mon-Fri

Pay Rate: 24.00/hr.

Job Description

·         Seeking a motivated and detail oriented Quality Assurance Project Leader to support ingredient quality and supplier change management activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring ingredient compliance, maintaining robust documentation, and driving cross functional alignment across the supply chain.

·         The ideal candidate brings a background in food science or a related discipline, strong written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a regulated environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with suppliers and internal partners while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Receive and manage supplier change notifications, including tracking status through completion

·         Coordinate cross functional assessments of supplier changes to evaluate quality and compliance impact

·         Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders

·         Support implementation of downstream process changes related to approved supplier notifications

·         Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to ensure traceability

·         Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier change notification and quality processes

·         Collaborate with cross functional partners including R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Quality

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, Nutrition Science, Microbiology, or a related field

·         1–3 years of experience in a regulated food or nutrition industry

·         Working knowledge of ingredient quality standards and regulatory requirements

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

·         Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
