As a Microbiology Analyst II, you'll perform critical microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, water system testing, endotoxin analysis, cleaning validation support, and method development that help ensure product quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Join our growing analytical laboratory team and play a hands-on role supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
What You'll Do:
- Perform microbiological testing including environmental monitoring, bioburden, endotoxin, and water testing.
- Support cleaning validation and cleaning verification studies.
- Develop and execute laboratory methods and studies.
- Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and communicate results to clients and project teams.
- Contribute to laboratory process improvements and cross-functional analytical projects.
Key Skills & Qualifications
BS degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
1-2 years of microbiology laboratory experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or contract testing environments.
Experience or knowledge of:
Environmental Monitoring (EM)
Bioburden & Microbial Enumeration Testing
Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET)
Water System Testing
Cleaning Validation & Cleaning Verification Support
Method Development & Validation Activities
Working knowledge of GMP, GLP, GDP, FDA, USP, and other regulated laboratory requirements.
Strong technical writing, data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary range, DOE: $50-60K annually
