Microbiology Medical Technologist (Wed-Sun Shift)

Join a respected clinical laboratory in Northern New Jersey delivering high-quality diagnostic services that directly impact patient care. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with advanced laboratory technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform microbiology testing (mycology and bacteriology) and LCMSMS analysis per lab protocols
Analyze, validate, and report test results, escalating abnormal findings as needed
Maintain quality control, accurate records, and sample integrity
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations



Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor"s degree in Biological, Chemical, or Physical Science (or equivalent)
Hands-on experience in microbiology (mycology and/or bacteriology) and LCMSMS
Strong knowledge of lab procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, CAP, CLIA)
High attention to detail with strong communication, computer, and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

1+ year of clinical laboratory experience
ASCP or AMT certification (or eligibility)

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour
