Job Description:
I’m reaching out regarding a Microbiology Section Lab Supervisor / Clinical Laboratory Scientist opportunity in the Modesto/Turlock, CA area with a full-time onsite schedule.
The position is ideal for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with strong clinical microbiology experience, laboratory operations knowledge, quality control/quality assurance experience, and leadership capabilities.
 
Key Skills & Experience:

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License – required
• Strong Clinical Microbiology laboratory experience
• Clinical/hospital laboratory experience
• Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)
• CAP and CLIA regulatory compliance
• Clinical laboratory procedures and instrumentation
• Instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Specimen handling and processing
• Laboratory supervision/leadership experience
• ASCP certification/registry is preferred

 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or a related field
