That knowledge is key when it comes to evaluating hardware security implementation in embedded electronics. We are looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to support our clients by creating new tools and capabilities. We need you to help design and develop techniques for testing memory subsystems, security subsystems, and debugging interfaces on electronic devices. You will be part of a mission-oriented engineering group challenged to do the impossible and recover data that may be deleted. You will share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff, broadening your skills in embedded systems development and testing, with opportunities to explore advanced side-channel analysis, hardware-backed security components, and reverse engineering. The world can't wait.You Have 3+ years of experience with software development in C, C++, or Python3+ years of experience with software, firmware, and hardware reverse engineering3+ years of experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, JTAG, or SW debuggers3+ years of experience designing and programming microcontroller or FPGA boards to monitor or communicate with internal buses3+ years of experience using IDA Pro or Ghidra for reverse engineeringKnowledge of ARM architecture and assembly languageBachelor's degree in EE or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering, or 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have Experience with cryptographyMaster's degree in EE or Computer EngineeringClearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.Compensation At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
