We are seeking a Microsoft Architect to define our client's enterprise architecture and long-term strategy for the Microsoft 365 platform. This role will lead the design, governance, and evolution of Microsoft technologies across the organization; ensuring secure, scalable, and business-aligned solutions. Working closely with IT Leadership and technical teams, the architect will drive platform modernization, Microsoft Copilot adoption, and future technology initiatives while serving as the highest-level technical resource for Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities
Define and maintain the enterprise architecture for the Microsoft 365 platform.
Establish governance, standards, and best practices across Microsoft 365 services.
Design solutions across Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
Lead Microsoft Copilot and AI initiatives with a focus on security, compliance, and data governance.
Evaluate integrations and new technologies to ensure alignment with architectural and business objectives.
Provide technical leadership for complex enterprise projects, platform upgrades, and migrations.
Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure Microsoft 365 solutions.
Mentor technical staff, maintain architecture documentation, and communicate technology strategy to Leadership.
Drive continuous improvements in platform performance, automation, and user experience.
Requirements
8+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 environments or Cloud infrastructure.
Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
Experience designing enterprise architecture for identity, collaboration, messaging, security, and AI-enabled Microsoft solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, governance, compliance, identity management, and security best practices.
Experience creating architectural standards, roadmaps, and enterprise technology strategies.
Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Microsoft certifications including Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
