Role: Microsoft Copilot / SharePoint Engineer / Architect
Location: This is a HYBRID position requiring 2 in-office days at local Deloitte office per week. Travel costs are not reimbursable.

We are seeking a Microsoft Copilot / SharePoint Engineer / Architect to join an innovative and high-impact team building AI capabilities within enterprise systems for a leading wealth management client. In this role, you will design and implement Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Copilot-based solutions that improve knowledge access, collaboration, content management, and employee productivity across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 solutions that support enterprise AI use cases
Architect content structures, site hierarchies, document management patterns, and permission models to improve AI search, retrieval, and collaboration
Integrate SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Graph, and related Microsoft services into AI-enabled workflows and user experiences
Support enterprise content readiness for Copilot by improving metadata, governance, access controls, and content lifecycle practices
Develop and configure custom components, automations, and integrations using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, APIs, and related services
Collaborate with product, AI engineering, security, and business teams to define scalable architecture patterns and implementation approaches
Establish best practices for SharePoint information architecture, content discoverability, search relevance, and user adoption
Ensure solutions align with security, privacy, compliance, and records management requirements in a regulated financial services setting
Troubleshoot performance, access, integration, and usability issues across Microsoft collaboration platforms
Contribute to platform standards, reusable assets, technical documentation, and roadmap planning for Microsoft-based AI capabilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, enterprise content management, or related technical roles
Hands-on experience designing and implementing SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions in enterprise environments
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Graph, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, or related Microsoft ecosystem services
Strong understanding of enterprise information architecture, permissions, content governance, and search configuration
Experience integrating Microsoft platforms with APIs, workflows, and external enterprise systems
Ability to communicate technical architecture decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience enabling content and collaboration platforms for AI search, retrieval, or Copilot-based use cases
Familiarity with Purview, compliance controls, records management, and data access considerations in regulated environments
Experience with SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure services, or workflow automation
Exposure to enterprise search optimization, metadata strategy, taxonomy design, or knowledge management practices
Experience in wealth management, financial services, consulting, or professional services environments
