Job Title: Client Dynamics GP Consultant

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Client Dynamics GP Consultant to lead the end-to-end upgrade of legacy GP environments to the latest versions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing upgrades across infrastructure, database, and application layers, along with expertise in custom code remediation, integration validation, and post-upgrade stabilization.

Target Environment:
- Windows Server 2022
- SQL Server 2022
- Client Dynamics GP v18.8
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute full lifecycle upgrade of Client Dynamics GP from legacy to latest version
- Conduct environment assessments, upgrade path planning, and risk analysis
- Upgrade the following components:
- Windows Server (2008 2022)
- SQL Server (2008 R2 2022)
- Dynamics GP (2013 v18.8)
- Analyze, remediate, and validate custom code, integrations, and third-party add-ons
- Ensure data integrity, perform migration, and conduct reconciliation during the upgrade
- Develop cutover strategy, rollback plans, and validation procedures
- Support SIT/UAT testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
- Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Client Dynamics GP (2013 to 18.x versions)
- Proven track record in upgrading GP from legacy versions to latest releases
- Expertise in SQL Server upgrade/migration (2008 R2 2022)
- Experience with Windows Server upgrade/migration
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
