Glint Tech Solutions is hiring a Microsoft Purview Consultant in Jacksonville, FL (Onsite). The role involves supporting a large‑scale Purview implementation for a financial IT client, partnering with a new Data Governance team to validate strategy, provide best practices, and lead hands‑on implementation. Candidates should have 5+ years of governance/compliance experience, strong Purview expertise, and the ability to balance strategic consulting with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assess & validate governance frameworks and operating models
– Provide strategic guidance on Purview adoption & best practices
– Configure and implement Purview capabilities across enterprise
– Support data classification, labeling, retention & catalog initiatives
– Align governance policies with compliance & data management goals
– Partner with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams integrations
– Conduct gap assessments & recommend improvements
– Provide technical support during deployment & rollout
– Document governance processes & configurations
– Deliver knowledge transfer to internal governance teams
Required Skills:
– 5+ years in Data Governance/Compliance initiatives
– Hands‑on Microsoft Purview implementation experience
– Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, classification, lifecycle management, compliance, metadata/cataloging
– Experience in Microsoft 365 & Azure environments
– Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
– Ability to balance consulting strategy with technical execution
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience supporting new Data Governance organizations
– Microsoft certifications (Purview, Security, Compliance, Azure)
– Knowledge of DLP, eDiscovery, information protection
– Consulting/advisory background preferred
