What You’ll Do:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the MICU setting
  • Monitor patients using cardiac and pulmonary equipment, including ventilators and arterial lines
  • Administer complex medications and manage invasive procedures like central lines and pulmonary arterial catheters
  • Respond to patient needs, emergencies, and support interdisciplinary care teams
  • Document patient care activities using electronic health records (Epic required)
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including ACLS and BLS protocols

What You Need:
  • Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license (or eligible/licensure in process)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (Epic preferred)
  • Skills in vent management, IV starts, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Ability to work independent and as part of a multidisciplinary team

You will be working in a hospital ICU unit that manages critically ill adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as ARDS, sepsis, COPD, and complex postoperative cases. The unit performs procedures like mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, and clinical trials, offering a challenging yet rewarding environment for experienced critical care nurses.
