We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to acutely and critically ill patients. Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established standards and best practices
Perform monitoring, procedures, and interventions as ordered by medical providers
Accurately document all patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and ongoing self-care
Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and departmental performance
Promote effective communication and teamwork within the MICU
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (higher-acuity experience strongly preferred; strong Med-Surg candidates considered)
