We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Administrative Manager located in the Washington, D.C. area.
What you'll do:
The Mid-Level Administrative Manager will provide administrative and executive support to a U.S. Navy program office.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support services which allow organizations to operate efficiently, such as payroll, information and data processing, telecommunications management, and security, among other things.
- Implementing procedures to improve productivity and customer service.
- Coordinating the work, meetings, and people within the physical workplace.
- Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
- Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
- Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
- Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation
- Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items
- Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations
- Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain andmaintainprofessional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience providing administrative and executive support to U.S. Navy program offices
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
