The opportunity Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Design Engineer with field experience to work out of our
Sugar Grove, IL plant. This is an in-person position.
We are looking for motivated self-starters to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:· Produce, review, and update mechanical designs and drawings in accordance with required specifications, standards, customer comments, and internal design models
· Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments
· Oversee the entire lifecycle of the machine design process, from planning and design to testing and implementation
· Lead collaborative discussions between leadership and key stakeholders to determine automation capabilities and goals
· Maintain customer correspondence including approvals, changes, agreements and transmittals
· Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades
· Other engineering/manufacturing related tasks as deemed appropriate by management
Skills:· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent problem solving and time management skills
· Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge
· Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software
· Background in automation engineering
Minimum Requirements:· A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology (or similar related degree)
· 3 - 5 years related job experience
· Valid Driver’s License
· Proficient with MS Office,
SolidWorks (2025)· Must have the ability to measure and model new and existing mechanical components
· Be U.S. work authorized. No VISA sponsorship is available for this role.
