Role Description

\n

This is a full-time role for a Civil Engineer or Environmental Engineer. NOREAS, Inc. has immediate openings for a mid-level position ranging from 4 to 10 years of experience in the environmental investigation and remediation industry. The full-time position will be based at our San Diego, California office, and will require some travel.

\n

\n

Position Requirements and Key Responsibilities:

\n

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• \n
• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university. MS degree is a plus.
• \n
• California Professional Engineer preferred, or is actively pursuing licensure.
• \n
• 4 to 10 years of experience in the environmental investigation and remediation industry.
• \n
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat (or similar). Experience with GIS and/or CAD is a plus.
• \n
• Works under the direction of a project manager or serves as a task/project manager for groundwater monitoring, remediation system design/implementation/operation and maintenance, and other environmental/construction projects.
• \n
• Capable of supervision of complex field projects.
• \n
• Travel and field work, approximately 25-50%, which may be throughout the U.S.
• \n
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• \n
• Commitment to supporting a safe work environment.
• \n
• Strong writing and analytical skills for preparation of work plans and reports (investigation, remediation design, feasibility studies, etc.).
• \n
• Proposal and cost estimate support.
• \n
• Experience working on Federal/Department of Defense contracts (specifically NAVFACSW, NAVFACNW and USACOE) is preferred.

Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000
