Mid-Level Developer
Systems Integration and Development, Inc. (SID) is an award-winning IT solutions provider located in Rockville, MD and is seeking a Mid-Level Developer. This is a full-time position based in Suitland, MD. This is a remote role with some travel required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Development: Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications using Python and Angular tailored for Kubernetes.
- Cloud Integration: Ensure applications are designed to be cloud-agnostic and can be deployed seamlessly on different cloud providers.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze, diagnose, and improve application performance within containerized environments.
Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent.
- Solid experience with Python and Angular
- Understanding of network protocols, API gateways, and load balancing in a microservices environment.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Continuous Deployment: Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integrations and deployments.
- Monitoring: Collaborate with operations teams to monitor application health
- Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Mentor junior developers
