This position is ideal for a mid-level litigator who already has a solid civil-defense foundation and wants greater ownership, stronger trial exposure and a long-term path within an established litigation platform.

Job Details

What You'll Do
Independently manage an active litigation caseload
Develop defense strategy from initial investigation through resolution
Draft substantive motions, pleadings and discovery
Take and defend depositions
Handle hearings and mediations
Work with experts
Evaluate liability and damages
Communicate directly with carriers, insureds and corporate clients
Prepare matters for trial
Work directly with experienced trial attorneys while taking increasing ownership of files
Ideal Background
3–5 years of litigation experience
Active Florida Bar admission
Insurance defense, general liability or related civil-defense experience strongly preferred
Meaningful deposition experience
Strong motion and discovery practice
Experience independently managing matters and deadlines
Prior exposure to trial preparation, hearings or mediations
Strong writing and client-facing skills

Candidates with experience in premises liability, auto/trucking, construction defect, medical malpractice, professional liability or catastrophic injury defense are particularly relevant.
