Salary: Up to $105K
Location:New York, NY
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office)

What You'll Do:

• Conduct cite-checking and ensure proper legal citation compliance using The Bluebook.
• Provide support throughout the litigation process, including discovery, court filings, and trial prep.
• Utilize Relativity to search, code, and export documents for discovery and litigation.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg, and other databases.
• Assist in docketing procedures and managing critical case deadlines.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence, ensuring they meet the firm's standards.
• Organize, maintain, and update case files and records in iManage.
• Compile and analyze litigation-related data for concise reports, correspondence, and communications.
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and clients in a team-oriented environment.
• Assist in trial preparation and attend hearings and depositions when necessary.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.
• Strong cite-checking skills and familiarity with court rules and procedures.
• Proficiency in Relativity, including document management and e-discovery.
• Expertise in legal research platforms like Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
• Technical proficiency in iManage, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and precision.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime (evenings, weekends, and holidays) when needed.
