About The Role:
As our Mid-Level React Software Engineer, you'll be building sleek, high-performance interfaces for our web products in collaboration with designers, stakeholders, and the UI/UX team. This full-time role reports to the Head of UI/UX Design and is based in our downtown Chicago office.
What You'll Do:
- Develop high-performance React applications handling heavy data flows
- Implement C# API endpoints and WebSocket handlers
- Partner with Design & Product to deliver pixel-perfect features
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain secure, reliable web apps
- Write unit tests to ensure functionality and backward compatibility
- Champion coding standards and development best practices
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years building web applications
- Strong in TypeScript, React, Material UI, and Node.js
- Bonus skills: C#, Python, SQL
- Financial markets knowledge a plus
- Agile development experience
- Backend API and WebSocket development in C#
- Collaborate with Design & Product to deliver pixel-perfect features
- Engage with end users to gather requirements and manage expectations
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
