deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Mid-Level System Engineer in Huntsville, AL.Position Description:deciBel Research is seeking a mid-level system engineer to support system engineering efforts on a large Department of Defense (DoD) contract.Responsibilities Include:System trade studies and associated analysesAnalyses of alternativesSystem performance modeling and analysesSystem Interface Design and associated Functional Modeling and DecompositionRequirements Verification TestParticipate in engineering technical reviewsDocument work and artifacts in Engineering Data SDRLEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related disciplineExperience Requirements:8+ years experience in system engineering on DoD programsRadar signal processing, algorithm development, and AESA hardware/beam forming expertiseExperience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and performance analysisRequirements definition, decomposition, maintenance, and verification using DOORSExperience with system architecture modeling using MBSE tools such as Cameo and SysMLExperience with trade study techniquesEnd to end subsystem integration and test plan creation for radar system verificationSpecial Skills Desired:Experience with PythonExperience with automated testing techniques and toolsExperience working on a geographically distributed teamApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
