We are looking for a team member in our Transportation Design Group with the desire to lead traffic analysis and design efforts on projects within our Highway Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Design or provide oversight of traffic-affiliated improvements for highway-related projects
  • Develop or provide oversight for traffic control, traffic signal, and signing/pavement marking plans
  • Perform or provide oversight for traffic analysis and modelling on transportation improvement projects.
  • Complete or provide oversight for designated task assignments and technical reports that summarize recommendations
  • Review and seal traffic-related submittals
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients
  • Attend professional organization meetings to build relationships and assist with business development
Qualifications:
  • 5 to 10 years of direct experience in traffic design aspects of transportation projects
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required, with emphasis or prior work experience in traffic design
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • PE license in PA required; PTOE or willingness to obtain PTOE certification a plus.
  • CADD experience a plus; MicroStation, InRoads or OpenRoads preferred
  • Ability to perform project site visits
  • PennDOT/PA Turnpike experience preferred
