Company Description

We're representing a YC-backed AI startup building intelligent digital workers for the chemical manufacturing industry. Their AI platform automates complex pricing, quoting, and customer workflows for Fortune 100 manufacturers, reducing processes that traditionally take days into workflows completed in minutes.

After recently closing its first seven-figure enterprise contract, the company is expanding internationally and deploying AI solutions across global manufacturing organizations. Backed by Pioneer Fund, Flybridge, and Liquid 2 Ventures, the team is building AI-native enterprise software that combines modern large language models with deep industry expertise to transform one of the world's largest industrial sectors.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and ship end-to-end AI-powered product features used by Fortune 100 manufacturing customers.
• Develop intelligent AI agents that automate complex pricing, quoting, cross-selling, and production planning workflows.
• Own features across the full technology stack using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern backend technologies.
• Integrate AI capabilities using leading foundation models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and related providers.
• Build enterprise-grade integrations with ERP platforms such as SAP and other manufacturing systems.
• Design scalable infrastructure supporting international deployments, including GDPR-compliant data residency requirements.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand complex operational workflows and rapidly translate feedback into product improvements.
• Leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate software development while maintaining high engineering quality.
• Contribute to product strategy, technical architecture, and engineering best practices as an early member of the team.
• Help shape both the engineering culture and long-term technical direction of the company.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of full-stack software engineering experience building production products.
• Proven experience shipping customer-facing applications from concept through production.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered applications, LLMs, or agent-based systems.
• Comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated startup experience with high ownership and end-to-end product responsibility.
• Highly proficient using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar as part of daily development workflows.
• Strong product intuition with the ability to balance technical excellence and customer needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Preferred

• Experience building AI-native enterprise software or agentic applications.
• Background at high-growth startups or recognized technology companies.
• Familiarity with enterprise software integrations, ERP systems, or manufacturing technology.
• Experience deploying applications in highly regulated or enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of modern LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and AI product development.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers and translating complex requirements into software solutions.
• Interest in industrial automation, manufacturing technology, or AI-driven enterprise workflows.
• Passion for building products from zero to one within small, high-performing engineering teams.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $180,000–$230,000 (up to $250,000 for exceptional candidates).
• Equity: 0.5–1.25%.
