The School District of Belleville is seeking a dynamic Physical Education and Health teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting with the 2026-27 school year. The district consistently "exceeds expectations" and has shown strong recent academic growth.

The candidate would teach 3-4 sections of High School Phy Ed and all MS and HS Health classes. Candidates should possess a Physical Education (1530) and Health (1910) license.

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of current practices and methodologies in the teaching of Health and Physical Education.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners in a variety of settings.
  • Experience integrating technology effectively into the curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and parents.
  • Commitment to creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Willingness to advise or coach co-curricular activities, if needed.
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom while building meaningful relationships with all students.
