The School District of Flambeau is accepting applications for the position of High School Physical Education (1530) & Health Teacher (1910) (Grades 7-12), beginning employment with the start of the 2026-2027 school year (August 20, 2026).

This position requires a dynamic teacher who can develop positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community. Candidates must be student-centered and must actively engage students in the learning process in physical education classes. Candidates will be required to collaborate with colleagues to improve the learning of all students; positively engage various stakeholders in the school and community; plan and prepare high-level, creative learning units that are engaging, relevant, address student needs, and are based on best practice. Additionally, the candidate must be able to maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment and make a positive and substantial contribution to the school and district. Candidates who are willing to serve as an extracurricular advisor or in coaching positions are valued.

To be considered, an applicant must have or be willing to work toward their Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction licenses in Physical Education (1530) and Health Education (1910). Candidates must also submit all of the following documents via WECAN:
