    Description

    All individuals with a teaching license who have or are willing to pursue a Special Education license are encouraged to apply. We will assist you in getting an emergency license for this position if you do not yet hold a Special Education license.

    • Work Schedule: Late August through late May 7:45am-3:45pm daily per school district calendar, with extra summer and after school hours available if interested.

    Wauzeka-Steuben School District is comprised of the villages of Steuben and Wauzeka and located in the southwestern part of the state. The District's elementary school (PK-5), middle school (6-8), and high school (9-12) are located in the same building complex with an enrollment of approximately 250 students. The village of Wauzeka has a local gas station, a bank, various repair shops, and several other businesses. Tourists enjoy the area for the beautiful scenery as well as the ample opportunity to see wildlife in natural habitats in the Wisconsin and Kickapoo River areas. Prairie du Chien and Boscobel are short drives, while LaCrosse and Madison are within an hour and one-half drive.
