Under the direction of the vocal music teacher, this individual will accompany school choirs during rehearsals and concerts, assist the director in the leading of section rehearsals and concerts, facilitate the rehearsals of individuals and small ensembles. Specific duties include playing warm-ups, individual voice parts, combined choral parts, and accompaniment parts. The accompanist may perform clerical tasks and other related functions to support the curricular and extra-curricular vocal and instrumental music programs of the high school.
Starting Pay: $22.60

Hours: Approximately 35.5 hours weekly, variability when preparing for performances, concerts
Some evening and weekends hours for extra-curricular rehearsals and performances (musical, show choir, etc.)
Part-time or job share could be considered (2-3 days per week, 17-20 hours)
