Duties

The assistant principal, in collaboration with the building principal, provides leadership and

direction to support the School District 21 Strategic Plan and promote learning for each student.

Qualifications

We are seeking outstanding educational leaders who demonstrate:

• Proven Leadership: Success in teaching and administrative or coaching roles, with a minimum of four years of classroom experience preferred.
• Student-Centered Focus: A record of people-focused leadership that prioritizes the emotional and academic needs of middle school learners.
• Operational Excellence: Strong skills in instructional leadership, planning, organization, and sound judgment.
• Commitment to Equity: Deep cultural competence and a dedication to fostering a culture of achievement and respect for all.
• Collaborative Spirit: Integrity, empathy, and approachability, with the ability to build strong partnerships with staff and parents.

Salary/Benefits

Salary Range: $97,000 - $107,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
