Middle School Assistant Track Coach

The Middle School Assistant Track Coach will assist the Head Coach in providing a positive, safe, and educational athletic experience for middle school student-athletes. The coach will help develop student-athletes'' athletic skills, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and support the overall goals and expectations of the Cambria-Friesland and Randolph School District athletic program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with planning and conducting daily practices and track meets.
• Teach and develop fundamental skills and techniques appropriate for middle school athletes.
• Assist with event-specific instruction, including running, jumping, and throwing events.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and positive character development.
• Monitor student-athlete safety and ensure appropriate supervision at practices and competitions.
• Assist with meet preparation, equipment, transportation, and other team responsibilities as assigned.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with student-athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, and school staff.
• Support and enforce school and athletic department rules, policies, and expectations.
• Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Attend practices, competitions, coaches'' meetings, and other required activities.
• Assist with maintaining and organizing athletic equipment and facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
