Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming2. Possess current CPR certification3. Possess current First Aid certification4. Have fundamental knowledge of the sport5. Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries course.6. Ability to select from a variety of instruction methods to teach activity objectives. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND HOURS OF DUTY: As per district policy. JOB SUMMARY: To instruct all students in the fundamental skills and knowledge of the sport or activity. To provide an atmosphere for successful individual development through monitoring, evaluating, and reinforcing. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Ability to develop drill and practice activities that teach and enhance individual/team skill development that makes up the game.2. Develop and maintain an inventory list of equipment.3. Prepares and implements a schedule of checking out, maintaining, and checking in equipment.4. Ability to plan and enforce appropriate safety and health rules and regulations.5. Ability to develop a supervision plan that ensures the safety and welfare of students at all times: locker room, trips, practices, etc.6. Maintains confidentiality about students and others.7. Presents a professional appearance.8. Ability to be an effective communicator with all audiences - players, parents, supervisors, peers and spectators.9. Ability to receive, understand and follow directions.10. Be able to model/demonstrate activities and equipment used to develop basic skills or physical condition.11. Ability to observe, diagnose, and prescribe appropriate remediation activities during practice and game conditions for players and team.12. Must know and be able to apply the developmental stages of each point of the game to the needs and ability levels of the team/players.13. Assimilate innovations and adapt to changes when applicable.14. Support the philosophies of Park County School District #6.15. May be responsible for supervising students on out-of-town activities. This may involve staying overnight. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: All Sports 1. Ability to sit on a bus for hour after hour. 2. Ability to carry and/or provide aid to an injured player.
