Middle School Boys Basketball Coach

Cambria-Friesland School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Middle School Boys Basketball Coach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate basketball practices.
• Teach and develop fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and game strategies.
• Provide positive leadership and mentorship to student-athletes.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, school staff, and athletic department personnel.
• Promote a positive team culture and represent Cambria-Friesland School in a professional manner.
• Follow all district, conference, and WIAA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous basketball coaching or playing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with middle school students.
• Commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court.
• Must meet all applicable WIAA and district coaching requirements.
