Position Details
Kearsley Community Schools is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as a Middle School English Language Arts Educator. This position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, with an anticipated start date the week of August 10. The Kearsley Board of Education will offer the successful candidate an annual salary per the KEA Master Agreement commensurate with their skills and experience. The successful candidate will also receive a complete and competitive MESSA fringe benefit package.

The Position
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a Michigan Teaching Certificate with at least one of the following endorsements: English Language Arts (BA), (BX), or (BQ). BT & BC endorsements will be considered. ZC & ZK "all subjects" endorsements will also be considered.
The qualified candidate will use creative instructional strategies along with best practices for classroom teaching which promotes interactive learning and student engagement through technology, literature, and writing. The candidate must be adept with technology and ready to consider emergent techniques to enhance student achievement.
