Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Elementary Education Certificate (Standard or Certificate of Eligibility) with Middle School Language Arts Endorsement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
- Experience with TC Writer's/Reader's Workshop preferred. Orton Gillingham trained a plus.
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Background in co-teaching models a plus. Proven team member who works well collaboratively with grade-level colleagues.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Annual salary range: $57,000 to $77,000, commensurate upon experience/degree(s).
