MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Head coaching experience at any level is preferable but not required. • A proven verifiable record of positive staff, student, parent co-worker and/or administrative support and relationships. • A proven verifiable record of placing appropriate emphasis on good sportsmanship, academic excellence, positive attitudes and character. • A demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for student athletes and a commitment to holding all students and adults associated with the program to the same standards. • A long term commitment to develop and sustain a positive, winning tradition. JOB REQUIREMENTS Successful applicants must complete the four state coaching requirement courses online (no charge) and must obtain a valid CPR and First Aid card. CPR must be an in-person course AND both First Aid and CPR must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (paid for by applicant). In addition, new coaches will need to provide TB clearance and fingerprints. APPLICATION PROCESS Applications from qualified candidates are invited. A complete application file consists of: • A completed EDJOIN application • Up-to-date sports resume • Two (2) recent letters of recommendation are REQUIRED. The letters must be signed and dated within the last 2 years. Acceptable Signatures are: document signing platform (Docusign or similar platform) or handwritten scanned signatures. Typed signatures will not be accepted. To submit an application you must log onto www.edjoin.org. Applicants are responsible for assuring that Human Resources receive the online application submission of their application before the deadline. Applicants must be sure they are submitting a complete application packet with all required documents. Incomplete application packets will not be considered.
