Middle School Girls Basketball Assistant Coach

The Cambria-Friesland School District is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered individual to serve as the Middle School Girls Basketball Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.

The successful candidate will assist the head coach in developing and maintaining a positive basketball program that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, character, and a commitment to educational athletics. The assistant coach will work collaboratively with student-athletes, families, school staff, and administration to provide a positive and rewarding experience for all participants.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with the planning and conducting of practices and games.
• Teaching basketball fundamentals and supporting player development.
• Promoting good sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
• Assisting in maintaining a safe and positive environment for all student-athletes.
• Supporting communication between coaches, players, parents, and school personnel.
• Following all WIAA, conference, district, and school policies and procedures.
• Assisting with equipment management, supervision, and other program needs as assigned by the head coach.

Position Information:

This position may serve as the assistant coach for a Cambria-Friesland-only team or a Randolph-Cambria-Friesland (RCF) cooperative team, depending on participation numbers and program needs. The final team structure will be determined at a later date.
