Middle School Girls Head Basketball Coach

The Cambria-Friesland School District is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered individual to serve as the Middle School Girls Basketball Head Coach for the upcoming season.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a positive basketball program that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, character, and a commitment to educational athletics. The coach will work collaboratively with student-athletes, families, school staff, and administration to provide a positive and rewarding experience for all participants.

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and conducting practices and games.
• Teaching basketball fundamentals and game strategies.
• Promoting good sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
• Communicating effectively with players, parents, and school personnel.
• Following all WIAA, conference, district, and school policies and procedures.

Position Information:

This position may serve as the head coach for a Cambria-Friesland-only team or a Randolph-Cambria-Friesland (RCF) cooperative team, depending on participation numbers and program needs. The final team structure will be determined at a later date.
